History

EKFC GIRLS 18's was founded in 2006 by a group of women who wanted to play competitive football. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Scottish women's football pyramid, and in 2014 they were promoted to the Scottish Women's Premier League 2.

The team has had a number of successes over the years, including winning the Scottish Women's Premier League 2 title in 2016. They have also reached the final of the Scottish Women's Cup on two occasions, in 2015 and 2017.
