FC United of Yate is a football team based in Yate, South Gloucestershire, England. They were founded in 2008 and currently play in the Bristol Premier Sunday Football League.
The club was formed by a group of fans who were unhappy with the way their previous club, Yate Town, was being run. They wanted to create a club that was owned and run by the fans, and that would play attractive, attacking football.
FC United of Yate have been successful in their short history. They have won the Bristol Premier Sunday Football League title twice, in 2012 and 2015, and they have also reached the final of the FA Sunday Cup on two occasions.
