Friday Football is a non-league football team based in London. They were founded in 2010 and play their home games at the Old Spotted Dog Ground in Hackney.
The team currently competes in the Isthmian League South Central Division, which is the ninth tier of English football. They have never won a major trophy, but they have finished as runners-up in the Isthmian League South Central Division twice, in 2014-15 and 2016-17.
History
Friday Football was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The team started out in the Hackney & East London League, and they quickly rose through the ranks. In 2014, they were promoted to the Isthmian League South Central Division.
Friday Football have had some success in recent years. In 2014-15, they finished as runners-up in the Isthmian League South Central Division. They also reached the final of the FA Vase in 2017, but they lost to AFC Stoneham.
