History
Hessle Sporting Club was founded in 1976 by a group of local residents. The club started out playing in the East Riding Amateur League and gradually worked its way up the leagues. In 2007, the club won promotion to the Humber Premier League, where it has played ever since.

Hessle Sporting Club finished the 2022-23 season in 12th place in the Humber Premier League. The club has started the 2023-24 season well, winning two of its first three games.
