Homan Football Club is a football club based in Sari, Iran. The club was founded in 1972 and currently plays in the Azadegan League, the second tier of Iranian football.
History
Homan FC was founded in 1972 by a group of football enthusiasts in Sari. The club quickly rose through the ranks of Iranian football and reached the top flight, the Persian Gulf Pro League, in 1998. However, the club was relegated back to the Azadegan League in 2001.
Homan FC has never won a major trophy, but the club has reached the final of the Hazfi Cup on two occasions, in 1999 and 2000.
Recent Season
Homan FC finished the 2022-23 Azadegan League season in 10th place. The club's top scorer was Mehdi Heydari, who scored 10 goals.
