Inter Milan-Drover is a football team based in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The team was founded in 1991 as a merger between Inter Milan Supporters Club Beverley and Drover FC.
The team currently plays in the East Riding County League Division One. They have won the league title on four occasions, in 1997-98, 2004-05, 2009-10, and 2013-14.
History
Inter Milan Supporters Club Beverley was founded in 1986 by a group of fans of the Italian club Inter Milan. The club played in local amateur leagues until 1991, when it merged with Drover FC to form Inter Milan-Drover.
Drover FC was founded in 1976 and played in the East Riding County League. The club won the league title in 1983-84 and 1984-85.
The merger of Inter Milan Supporters Club Beverley and Drover FC created a new team that was able to compete at a higher level. Inter Milan-Drover won the East Riding County League Division One in 1997-98 and has since won the title on three more occasions.
