More about the team

Ipswich Revolution was formed in the spring of 2008 and is named named after New England Revolution, the MLS team. The club ethos is playing in a competitive spirit, but with fun and a good social aspect being high priorities.

The club was formed as part of a breakaway from Ipswich Park by seven ex park players. New players were recruited and a small but competitive squad soon emerged. Now in its fifth season, the club plays in Division 3 (South) of the Marshall's Trophies Veterans' Football League (Norfolk and Suffolk Veterans' Football League) and is affiliated to the Suffolk County FA;

For the past two years, the club also has entered a team in the Champion Soccer six a league, playing Wednesday evenings at Gainsborough Sports Centre on their outdoor floodlit Astroturf pitch;

We are always looking to add quality and depth to our squad and new players are welcome - please contact Matthew Freeman via e-mail at for further details.
