About the Leicestershire Youth League
The Leicestershire Youth League (LYL) is a football league for young people in Leicestershire. It was founded in 1968 and currently has over 1,000 teams competing in its various divisions.
The LYL is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and its competitions are recognized by the FA. This means that players who compete in the LYL can progress to play at a higher level, such as the FA Youth Cup.
The LYL is a great way for young people to get involved in football and to develop their skills. It is also a great way to make friends and to have fun.
