Mud Wa Football Club is a Barbadian football club based in Bridgetown. The club was founded in 1972 and currently competes in the Premier League of Barbados.

Mud Wa has won the Premier League title on five occasions, most recently in 2019. The club has also won the FA Cup of Barbados on three occasions, most recently in 2018.

History

Mud Wa results

Mud Wa was founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to play football in Bridgetown. The club's name is derived from the area of Bridgetown where it is based, which is known as "Mud Wa".

Mud Wa quickly established itself as a force in Barbadian football, winning the Premier League title in 1973. The club went on to win the league title four more times, in 1976, 1982, 1984, and 2019.

Mud Wa has also been successful in the FA Cup of Barbados, winning the cup on three occasions, in 1975, 1983, and 2018.

Recent seasons

Mud Wa has been a consistent performer in recent seasons, finishing in the top four of the Premier League in each of the last five seasons. The club reached the final of the FA Cup of Barbados in 2019, but lost to Weymouth Wales.
