Niger Tornadoes Football Club is a Nigerian professional football club based in Minna, Niger State. They currently play in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL). The club was founded in 1972 and their home stadium is Bako Kontagora Stadium.
History
- Niger Tornadoes were founded in 1972 by the then military governor of Niger State, Colonel David Mark.
- The club won their first NPFL title in 1984.
- They have also won the Nigerian FA Cup twice, in 1985 and 1990.
- Niger Tornadoes were relegated from the NPFL in 2012, but they were promoted back to the top flight in 2015.
