History

The club was founded in 1972 and originally played in the Leicester & District Sunday League. They joined the Leicestershire Senior League in 1980 and won the league in 1983. In 1987, they joined the United Counties League, where they played until 2008.

In 2008, they joined the Alliance Football League, where they have remained ever since. They have won the league title twice, in 2013 and 2018.

Ground

The club's home ground is the Owls Nest, in Oadby. The ground has a capacity of 300 spectators.

In the 2022-23 season, Oadby Owls finished in 10th place in the Alliance Football League Premier Division.
