History
The team was founded in 2017 by former Cardiff City and Wales international Paul Parry. Parry's goal was to create an environment for potentially elite young footballers to learn and play without the fear of making mistakes.
The team's current head coach is Rhys Nelson, who has a wealth of experience coaching at professional academies. Nelson is supported by a team of experienced coaches, including former Yeovil Town goalkeeper Lee Flynn.
Current Season
PJSS Academy u16's are currently in their third season in the Football League Youth Alliance - Devon Clubs league. They are currently in second place in the league, and are well-positioned to qualify for the Football League Youth Alliance National Finals.
The team has been very successful this season, winning 12 of their 15 league matches. They have also reached the semi-finals of the Devon Cup.
