RB L was founded in 1926 as NK Ðakovo. The club changed its name to NK Osvit Ðakovo in 1945, and then to NK Slavonac Ðakovo in 1952. In 2009, the club was renamed to RB L.
RB L has played in the Croatian Second League since 2011. The club's best finish in the Croatian Second League was third place in 2015.
