The club was founded in 1902 and play their home matches at Station Road. Their home kit is red and black stripes, while their away kit is white.
History
Ribchester Rovers have spent most of their history in the lower leagues of English football. They have never played in the Football League, but they have won the Mid Lancashire Football League on two occasions, in 1985-86 and 2006-07.
The club's most famous player is probably Tony Adams, who played for Ribchester Rovers in the early 1980s before going on to have a successful career at Arsenal and England.

Ribchester Rovers have been a consistent mid-table side in the Mid Lancashire Football League in recent seasons. They finished seventh in 2021-22, their highest finish since 2007.
