Sherburn White Rose Football Club is a football club based in Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds, North Yorkshire. The club was founded in 1977 and currently plays in the West Yorkshire Association Football League.
History
Sherburn White Rose was founded in 1977 by a group of local footballers. The club initially played in the Garforth and Selby Leagues before joining the West Yorkshire Association Football League in 1990.
The club's most successful period came in the early 2000s, when they won the West Yorkshire League Premier Division twice (2001-02 and 2002-03) and the West Riding County Cup once (2002-03).
The club has also reached the final of the West Yorkshire League Cup on three occasions (2000-01, 2001-02 and 2003-04), but have never won it.
Current season
Sherburn White Rose are currently competing in Division One of the West Yorkshire Association Football League. The club finished in 12th place last season.
The club's current manager is Paul Jackson. Jackson took over as manager in 2018.
