Southside AFC is a football team based in Southampton, England. They were founded in 1982 and play their home games at Richard Taunton College.
History
Southside AFC were founded in 1982 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. They initially played in local amateur leagues, but they soon rose through the ranks and began to compete in more competitive leagues.
In 2008, Southside AFC were promoted to the Wessex League Premier Division, the highest level of non-league football in Hampshire. They have remained in the Wessex League ever since, and they have consistently challenged for promotion to the Southern League.
