History

The club was founded in 1874.
They have won the UCL twice, in 1974–75 and 1987–88.
They have also won the Northern Counties East League once, in 1981–82.
They have been members of the Northern Premier League since 1988.

Sir Halley Stewart Field is the home ground of Spalding United. It is a 3,000-seater stadium located in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

Ishmen League Midlands football league

The Ishmen League Midlands football league is a regional football league in England. It is at Step 4 of the National League System, and is the fifth tier of English football.

The league was formed in 1982, when the Midland League and the Yorkshire League merged. The current champions are Walsall Wood.

The league consists of 22 clubs, and each club plays each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two clubs at the end of the season are promoted to the Northern Premier League Division One East, and the bottom two clubs are relegated to the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.
