History
Sporting WEP CP was founded in 2006 by a group of parents of children with cerebral palsy. The club's name is a combination of Sporting Clube de Portugal, the Portuguese football club, and WEP, which stands for "Wheelchairs and Empowerment."
Sporting WEP CP has grown rapidly since its inception, and now has over 30 players. The club has won several trophies, including the SSFL Cup in 2014 and 2016.
Current season
Sporting WEP CP are currently in second place in the JSF Plumbing & Heating League 4. They are one point behind the leaders, AFC Mortlake, with two games remaining in the season.
The club is hoping to win the league title this season, which would be their first league title since 2016.
