St Cleres Football Club is a grassroots football club based in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. The club was founded in 1999 and currently has teams in the Echo Junior Football League, the Brentwood Community Football Alliance Youth League, and the Essex County Girls League.
St Cleres have a strong reputation for developing young players. The club has produced a number of players who have gone on to play professional football, including Jack Jebb, who currently plays for Leyton Orient.
Echo Junior Football League
The Echo Junior Football League is a youth football league based in Essex. The league was founded in 1974 and currently has over 100 teams playing in it. The league is divided into a number of divisions, based on the age and ability of the players.
The Echo Junior Football League is a competitive league, but it is also known for its emphasis on fun and fair play. The league has a number of initiatives in place to promote these values, such as its Respect programme.
