Thimingalams Football Club is a football club based in Kottayam, Kerala, India. The club was founded in 1948 and is named after the Thimingalam area of Kottayam.
The club has won the Kerala Premier League on three occasions, in 1984, 1992, and 2002. They have also won the Kerala State Football League on 11 occasions, most recently in 2022.
History
Thimingalams Football Club was founded in 1948 by a group of young men from the Thimingalam area of Kottayam. The club's first president was P.K. Mathai.
The club's early years were not easy. They played in the lower divisions of the Kerala football league system. However, in the 1980s, the club began to improve and they won the Kerala Premier League for the first time in 1984.
The club continued to be successful in the 1990s and they won the Kerala Premier League again in 1992. They also won the Kerala State Football League in 1991 and 1992.
The club's most recent success came in 2022, when they won the Kerala State Football League. They are currently playing in the Kerala Premier League.
