Washington Womens First
Washington Womens First is a women's football team based in Washington, Tyne and Wear, England. They play in the North East Regional Womens Football League (NERWFL) Northern Division.
The team was founded in 1995 and currently play their home games at the Washington Sports Complex. They have won the NERWFL Northern Division title twice, in 2004-05 and 2011-12.
The team's current manager is Paul Robinson. Their most famous player is former England international Karen Carney.

The North East Regional Womens Football League (NERWFL) is a women's football league in Northern England. It is currently at the fifth and sixth levels of the English women's football pyramids.
The NERWFL was founded in 1910 and currently has 29 clubs. The league is divided into three divisions: Premier Division, Division One North, and Division One South.
The NERWFL champions are promoted to the FA Women's National League Division One North. The bottom two clubs in the Premier Division are relegated to Division One North. The bottom two clubs in Division One North are relegated to Division One South.
