The Weekly Monday Football Team was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together on a regular basis. The team started out playing in small, informal matches, but eventually they decided to join the Kuwait City Sunday League.
The team has been playing in the Kuwait City Sunday League ever since. They have won the league title once, in 2017. They have also reached the cup final on two occasions, but they have never won the cup.
