Wellington First Football Club is a football club based in Wellington, Somerset, England. They are currently members of the Toolstation Western Football League Premier Division and play at the Playing Field.
History
The club was founded in 1892 and originally played in local leagues. They joined the Western League in 1978 and have remained in the league ever since, except for a three-season spell in the Premier Division from 1981–84. They escaped Division One again in 2008 after winning the title and gaining promotion to the Premier.
The club has never won the Western League Premier Division, but they have been runners-up on three occasions. They have also won the Western League Cup twice, in 1983 and 2018.
Current Season
Wellington First are currently in their second season in the Toolstation Western Football League Premier Division. They finished ninth in the league last season.
The club's current manager is Mark Membury. He was appointed in 2021.
