Wroughton Youth Witches Football Club
Wroughton Youth Witches Football Club is a girls' football team based in Wroughton, Wiltshire. The team was founded in 2022 by Lee Nott and Danny McKinstry, who were inspired by the England Lionesses' success in the 2022 FIFA Women's World Cup.
The team currently has 23 players, aged 10 and under. They train and play their matches at the Deanery Academy in Wroughton.
The Team's Success
The Wroughton Youth Witches have been very successful in their first season. They have won the majority of their matches, and they are currently top of their league.
The team's success has been attributed to the hard work and dedication of the players and coaches. The players have also benefited from the support of local businesses, who have sponsored the team's kit.
The Tilehurst Panthers 6-a-side Tournament
The Wroughton Youth Witches will be competing in the Tilehurst Panthers 6-a-side Tournament on 25 June 2023. The tournament is open to all girls' teams aged 10 and under.
