The Ya Ma football (soccer) team is a youth soccer team based in Staunton, Virginia. The team was founded in 1970 and currently competes in the Staunton Youth Soccer League.
History
The Ya Ma football team was founded in 1970 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play soccer. The team started with just a few players, but it quickly grew in popularity. Today, the Ya Ma team has over 100 players and competes in a variety of divisions, from U8 to U19.
The Ya Ma team has a long history of success. The team has won numerous championships at the local, state, and regional levels. In 2018, the Ya Ma U14 team won the Virginia State Cup.
Current Season
The Ya Ma football team is currently in the middle of its 2023 season. The team is competing in the Staunton Youth Soccer League's Premier Division. The Ya Ma team is currently in first place in the division.
