The Yarra Jets Football Club was founded in 2009 by a group of local residents who wanted to create a soccer club that was accessible to everyone. The club started with just one team, but has since grown to over 20 teams, including men's, women's, and youth teams.
The Yarra Jets have won several trophies in their short history, including the Victorian Premier League Championship in 2017. The club has also produced several players who have gone on to play professionally, such as Ben Wheelhouse and Kirstin McWilliams.
