The Aberdeen Schools Amateur Football League is an amateur football league in Aberdeen, Scotland. It was founded in 1920 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
The Aberdeen Schools Amateur Football League was founded in 1920 by a group of teachers and coaches. The league's first season had just 12 teams, but it has since grown to become one of the largest amateur football leagues in Scotland.
The league has produced a number of professional footballers over the years, including former Aberdeen and Scotland captain Willie Miller.
The Aberdeen Schools Amateur Football League currently has competitions for men, women, boys, and girls. The men's league has four divisions, while the women's league has two divisions. There are also competitions for under-17s, under-15s, under-13s, and under-11s.
The league's season runs from September to May. The top teams in each division qualify for the playoffs, which are held in May.
