The league consists of 12 teams, which play each other once in a round-robin format. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Birkenhead Sunday 2nd, and the bottom two teams are relegated to the Birkenhead Sunday 4th.
The league is affiliated to the Wirral FA. The current champions are Great Float S&S.
