East Midlands Powerchair Football League 2025/26 season

Powerchair football is played by people using powered wheelchairs. The Wheelchair Football Association is the national governing body for the sport in England and works with clubs and regional competitions to support participation, competition and player development.

Part of a wider competition pathway

Regional leagues are organised geographically so that players can take part closer to home. Each operates with its own committee and competition structure, while contributing to the wider national game.

The East Midlands league sits below the national competitions in this structure. Regional football gives teams a competitive setting as they develop, with the wider pathway leading towards the National League for eligible teams.
