The Hellenic Football League is an adult men’s non-league competition founded in 1953. It has been part of the grassroots game for more than seven decades and provides a structured competition for clubs in the Hellenic region. The league’s present identity was strengthened before the 2000/01 season through the integration of the Chiltonian League.
The competition has a Premier Division and Division One. Both sit within The Football Association’s National League System: the Premier Division is at Step 5 and Division One at Step 6. The league therefore links county-level football with the wider semi-professional pyramid. Promotion between its divisions, and beyond the Premier Division, is subject to the relevant sporting and ground requirements.
For players, supporters and club volunteers, the league is a competition for established adult clubs rather than a youth or recreational programme. Its website lists the member clubs and publishes league news, while the FA’s Full-Time service carries the current match information.
Visit the Hellenic Football League website for official league information. Current fixtures, results and tables are available through FA Full-Time.
TeamStats is an independent football directory. It is not the league or The Football Association.
