Introduction
The Milton Keynes & District Development League (MKDDL) is an amateur football league for youth teams in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. The league was founded in 1997 and currently has over 100 teams competing in age groups from U7 to U18.
The MKDDL is affiliated to The Football Association (FA) and is part of the FA's National League System (NLS).

The league's goals are to:
- Provide a competitive and structured league for young players in the Milton Keynes area.
- Develop young players' football skills and knowledge.
- Encourage participation in football for all young people.
League Structure
The MKDDL is split into two divisions: the Premier Division and the Division One. The Premier Division is the top division and consists of the highest-ranked teams in the league. The Division One is the second division and consists of the remaining teams in the league.

The league season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team in their division twice, once at home and once away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams in each division are relegated to the previous division.
