Newport District Division 2
The Newport District Division 2 is an amateur football league in Wales. It is the second tier of the Newport and District Football League, which is the oldest and largest district football league in Gwent.
The league was founded in 1901 and currently has 10 teams. The teams are:
- AFC Pontymister (thirds)
- Caerleon Town
- Croesyceiliog Athletic (reserves)
- Cwmcarn Athletic (reserves)
- Duffryn Wanderers
- Graig Villa Dino (reserves)
- Mill Street Dynamo (reserves)
- Newport Corinthians (fourths)
- Newport Eagles (reserves)
- River Usk
The league season runs from September to May. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Newport District Division 1, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Newport District Division 3.
The current champions are AFC Pontymister (thirds).
