Internal football at Nottingham Trent University

Nottingham Trent University Leagues are NTU Sport’s internal competitions for current students. They offer weekly, term-time football in a competitive league structure that is separate from the university’s BUCS representative teams and training programmes.

Football is available in two formats: outdoor 11-a-side and outdoor six-a-side on 3G. The 11-a-side league is scheduled for Wednesday afternoons, while six-a-side football is scheduled on Friday and Saturday afternoons at Clifton Campus.

Joining an NTU team

Students can enter an existing team or register individually to be matched with a team or other students looking to form one. No NTU Sport membership is required for the internal leagues, although teams pay the relevant weekly playing fee.

Matches are organised by NTU Sport staff and officiated by qualified match officials. Fixtures, results and tables are communicated to teams during the academic year, so players should use NTU Sport for current enrolment and competition details.
