Introduction

Sceptre is an amateur football league based in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 2010 and currently has over 100 teams competing in various divisions.

The league is open to players of all ages and abilities. There are no tryouts or trials, and teams are formed based on availability.

Sceptre action

Sceptre is a non-profit organization and all proceeds go back into the league. This allows the league to keep registration fees low and provide affordable football for everyone.

Season structure

The Sceptre season runs from September to May. There are two divisions, the Premier Division and the Division One.

Sceptre match

The Premier Division is the top division and consists of the best teams in the league. The Division One is the second division and is open to all teams.

Each team plays each other team in their division once, home and away. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division. The bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the lower division.

Sceptre also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Sceptre Cup, the Challenge Cup, and the Plate.

The Sceptre Cup is the main cup competition in the league. It is open to all teams in the Premier Division and the Division One.

The Challenge Cup is open to all teams in the Premier Division.

The Plate is open to all teams in the Division One.
