The league was formed in 1999 and is affiliated with Manchester FA. Its club names reflect a mix of church, parish, Baptist and community teams; examples are included to show the competition’s regional scope rather than an exhaustive membership list.

Saturday league structure

The current programme is organised across three divisions and includes cup football. Regular fixtures are played on Saturdays, usually in the morning, at club and community venues across the area.

Players interested in joining should contact a current club directly, as teams set their own recruitment arrangements. The league’s Full-Time site provides live fixtures, results, tables and current team allocations.
