Sussex Sunday Football League

League football on Sundays
The SSFL organises divisional football for its member clubs, with league and cup competition forming part of the programme. The competition is administered under the FA’s standard code of rules for adult football, while its own rules set out the commitments expected of participating clubs.
For players looking to join a Sunday side, the most practical starting point is a local club that competes in the league. Club officials and volunteers can use the league’s website and FA Full-Time record to follow the current competition programme.
Standards and inclusion
The league’s rules require clubs to support the FA’s Respect programme and commit the competition and its clubs to inclusivity and non-discrimination. They also require participants to follow the FA’s safeguarding regulations for children and adults at risk.
Official information
Visit the Sussex Sunday Football League website for league information. Current fixtures, results and tables are available through FA Full-Time.
