Home league match played on 07 November 2010.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

The don Johh was up against it today, not only were they playing Club Pot but the Referee as well, it started as early as the first ten mins, he award them a dodgy freekick, the ball was played in, it pinged around until it fell to the feet of there forward from point blank steve made the save, the ball fell to Matt to clear only for it to go straight to there striker on the edge of the area, the ball fizzed towards the net our keeper was blocked by there plyer stood 3 yards out clearly off side who jumped over the ball, and the ball hit the bottom corner, clearly off side not given!

0 - 1

Yet again the ref was up to his old tricks, Club pot player picked up the ball on the pitch instead of our free kick the ref decided to award them a throwing, from the throwing the ball was played down the line, played through to there striker who looked off side who went through one on one and finished well in the corner.

0 - 2

The Don started to make chances and when one of crosses was blocked by there defenders hand and nothing given we knew we'd be up against it. Finally so nice team work the ball fell to Tom, he jinked passed a couple of players and played a great ball into Stepho, he looked up and curled the ball into the far corner, great goal.

1 - 2

Again Club Pot came at the don, this time a driving run from there midfielder resulted in there player diving in our area and surprise surprise a pen was awardered, the pen was struck to Steve's right it hit the post and went clear, a let off. But with only mins left the Don tried to bring the game back on level terns but again the ref struck, the worst one to date the ball was played through to there stricket stood 3 yards off side everyone stopped as it was so clear but the ref played on, he went through and despite a slight touch from steve he couldn't stop the ball going in the net. With that decision the ref was clearly cheating or just didn't understand the rules of the game.

1 - 3

Finally half time 1 - 3

A harsh half time team talk finally lead to us seeing what the Don are made of, we finally got out of bed and started to work for each other. The fisrt 5 mins saw an even game but slowly the Don kicking up hill were slowly coming out on top, just after the hour mark a good tackle by Lee the ball broke to Terry who slotted the ball down the line to Kriss, a great ball across goal was tapped in by Tom Groom great team goal.

2 - 3

With time running out a couple of changes were made, Jake came on for Qumran and Jepo came on for under the weather Lee, the formation was also altered to a more aggresive stance. With playing higher up the pitch the Don let Club Pot have a few chance's, with 20 mins left there left winger was clear through one on one which brought out a brave save from steve, again they attacked and the Don were out numbered at the back but a great recovery tackle from Elvis took the sting out of the shot for Steve to save well down to his left. Again the don pressured and a chance fell to Jepo the keeper pulled a great save off from the 2 yard out shot. With Pot looking like taking all three points up popped Wayne, a ball into the box headed clear only for Wayne to bring the ball down and rifle in from 8 yards out, great goal and great time to score.

3 - 3

The don reverted back to there normal formation and if the game was to go on any longer then there would have only been one side who would have gone on to win. We need to learn to come out all guns blazing and not wait until the second half. Great fight back though all in all.
