Both teams went into this match with a %100 win record but it was Southbrook doing all the pressing in the early stages of this match with Pete burgess and Mark Christopher failing to hit the target from close range.

AFC Southbrook didn't have to wait long to find themselves in the lead with some neat football being played out from the back through Adam Hallwood the ball find its way down the channel for Pete Burgess whose cutback cross was slammed home by Jamie Brown inside the area putting Southbrook 1 up.

AFC Southbrook nearly find themselves 2 up moments later with some good passing between the centre mid trio Windy, Ian, Durman whose latter ball find its way to Jamie Brown inside the box whose low drive was smartly saved by the keepers feet.

The visitors grab themselves a equaliser against the run of play when a goal kick find its way to Sporting Compass player who counted attack before unleashing a powerful drive from outside the box tieing the scores 1-1.

Second Half

AFC Southbrook started the second half exactly like the first having all the ball and going forward whenever possible, And it would only take them 10 mins before they were in the lead again, with a corner into the box was cleared failing to the feet of Pete Burgess who turned out to his right before passing out to Jamie Brown whose low shot was deflected into the net making it 2-1 with Jamie's second of the game.

It was AFC Southbrook who was dominating all the game not giving the visitors a single chance, and it would be Southbrook who would wrap the game up on the 60 min as Windy found himself in space before passing through two players to John Durman whose fierce shot from outside the box was too hard for the keeper to hold making it 3-1 to Southbrook.

Southbrook looked like they could have gone on and scored more but looked content on knocking the ball around on a very difficult pitch.

Well done lads very good 3 points.

motm as to go to Jamie Brown for his 2 goals and running himself into the ground well done mate.
