Away cup match played on 25 October 2014.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

North somerset welcomed bilbrook juniors to nailsea the game was a cracker right from the off both teams playing very high tempo football . Bilbrrok without some key players such as Pickle, tom and troy knew this would be a disjointed formation. Troys dedication meant he traveled 100 miles still to support his team. The manager knowing this and still adding him to the team sheet in hope of playing him.

Bilbrook took control of the game with sum fast flowing football from the start, but it was North Somersset who took the lead through geneticist teboh after again a miscommunication from the back line and goalkeeper. This communication must improve!!! Bilbrook without question played the better football with constant pressure and great combination play. The game was extremely physical but fair, a great game to watch. After the first five minuutes Jerome went off injured leaving our CAM position really weak. After 20 minutes their big CF clattered Kian and he was also out for the rest of the game. This alone put pressure on our direction moving forward.

After the first break of 20, Troy said he would go on. The pairing of Macca and Troy was back, thank god!! From there on in we played great football and started to get combination football through the final third. The opposition had done their home work and even knew our strikers name, in the first twenty he was completely marked out of the game. After the first twenty we put Elliott normally a defender in to a new position we are developing him into, flat on the last man, we moved Lewis right wing and changed the angle of which we played. This resulted in Bilbrook creating a team move to put us back on level terms with a great goal from elliot alves from an assist from Lewis Allen.

The 3rd period was played at a very fast pace sum excellent defending on both sides with game very tight. Going into the last 20 it was 1 -1 and either team could nick this but with Karaam now injured and Joe Baker taking a knock, the lack of options meant changes were needed.

A penalty with 7 minutes to go after Joe H apparently pulled an oppenents shirt. A penalty was awarded without even a warning. North Somerset took the lead with a penalty from morgan davies and although Bilbrook tried very hard they coundnt find a way through ns defence, their inability to connect in the last third was evident.

Bilbrook moved to 3-4-3 to get the equaliser. The defence didnt seem to react to the change in formation and this left James open with the left and right back going too wide. Manager error!! This saw jack sell score a cracking goal to seal the win for North Somerset. Today was a fantastic display by both of the teams but a draw would have been a fair result. Bilbrook should not get down, you applied yourselves with great football, great passsion and with a full depth squad this result would be so different. I personally think it was a cracker of a game and it is these games why we play saturday football. High tempo, physical and the result could have gone either way

Gold Player - Troy Myles for his dedication to play through injury, cut out the toughest player and re connect with super Macca

Silver Player - James Archer, left open from other decision but was a complete rock, great last minute tackles, head and shoulders above all other defenders on the day

Bronze Player - Karaam- really did not want to take him off - His kness let him down but a great performance against really tough, rough players. He was dangerous and a game changer. Left on we would have nicked it
