It all hinged on a corner early in the second half. Their very tall defender / midfielder came up for a corner and elbowed Latch in the head as he scored.
Latch looked in a bit of pain but after a lot of niggly and in some cases blatant fouls on us that was the last straw for our big gentle giant striker. He was now a man possessed.
Lemar - who had a cracking game himself - streaked in from the right wing, had a shot which their excellent keeper parried wide of the goal, but Latch swept it in from an acute angle.
It really heated up at 1-1 and it was pretty obvious that the next goal might win it. Bit of a hopeful hoof up from the back, controlled by Latch, great footwork to beat a man or two, into the box and super finish over the keeper and high into the net.
Stick you parallax view where the sun don't shine.
Lots of people had good games, special mentions to Tyson who played right back when Rich got injured and Conrad who had a calm, assured game.
But only one MotM - the big man with 2 goals.
