BoC F.C. 4 vs 5 Harretons

The Thursday before Good Friday is always a tricky fixture to get a team out for and we lined up with 6 ringers this time out for the last game before an extended break while they re-lay the pitches. Probably too much to hope that they also fix up the changing rooms.

Ringer F, as it turns out, played only a short cameo. Crossing for Paul to open the scoring before hobbling off with an injury almost immediately afterwards.

We let in some soft goals that is am struggling to remember tbh, but also scored a penalty from Andrea that Paul had won. 2-3 at about the halfway point.

Second half we were mostly trailing but Daniel with a nice finish in the box, then Josh from an acute angle had the 10 men level with a few to go. But we couldn’t hang on and Harretons won it at the end, despite Sheedy leaving his goal and going up for a corner.

A good game for the last game for a while, mostly played in good spirits. A couple of slightly over enthusiastic tackles.
