BoC F.C. 0 vs 2 Old Eastbournians

We hit the post twice in one move early on, Hoof Jnr on a run directing his shot against the inside of the post, it rebounded out and Charlie hit the crossbar with the follow up.

We are not having a lot of luck in front of goal at the moment, it must be said.

And at the other end an unfamiliar 3-5-2 formation was putting a lot of strain on the defence. I was having a shocker to be honest and both oppo goals came in the first half down the left side.

Sam ringer was playing a blinder in nets for us, having stepped in as a last minute goalie with Tyson missing. No fault on either goal for him.

Second half Old Eastbournians took their foot off the gas, stuck their centre half up front, that sort of thing, and, coupled with our return to 4-4-2, meant no more goals were conceded.

We had a chance or two, probably the best was Sam out of nets for an injured Nick nearly scoring right at the end, but we drew another blank in front of goal.

We move on and hopefully next week will see us turn the corner of what is turning into a bit of a slump. 5 defeats on the bounce.
