Home league match played on 13 February 2011.
Kicked off at 1:30 AM

BPA Lizards met Oakworth at Goals this weekend as the pitches at swain house were water logged.Haseeb opened the scoring in the 2 min with a fine volley.Straight from the restart Haseeb went on a fine run and was unlucky not to get his cross away before running out of pitch.

Matthew (capt) had a shot well saved in the 4th min, before Dominic (Home Debut) had his volley saved in the 5th.

Matthew won the ball on the wing in the 6th min putting Dominic in for him to score a thunderbolt to make it 2 .0

Haseeb,Alex,Joe and Kaylum all had fine efforts stopped by a hard working Oakworth keeper.Lewis then made a fantastic clearance as Bradford failed to track back when Oakworth finally broke out of their own half, moments later it was Jacob who fired his clearance the lenght of the pitch to Kaylum who shot against the post.

Kaylum then had the hard word from the coach when he tried a shot from a corner. His next corner was excellent and found Matthew free at the back stick his shot was scrambled free and wide narrowly missing the feet of the on rushing Joe.

Alex used a cool head to set Kaylum up for Bradfords 3rd on 15 mins. Matthew then had a shot saved before Dominic hit a fine volley again the keeper was equal to it.

Kaylum turned provider for Haseeb to finish with style in the 17th min (so much power we had to change ball before the restart.

Oakworth finally scored in the 18th min but sadly it was an own goal after a Jack Wright throw caught them flat.

A fine clearance from Thomas (debut game) stopped a quick Oakworth break and the shots from Matthew and Kaylum finished off the first half (5.0)

Bradford started the second half in a rush and 2 Quick goals from Stefan (first half Keeper) one a finer team move from Dominic who found Jack who pushed it out to Stefan for him to score the second a rebound to Stefan after Jacks shot was scrambled clear.(7.0)

Jack was unlucky when he got his foot under the ball and fired over from close range.

Bradford then lost the plot and the glory hunt for goals took over shots from stupid angles, shots from deep a failure to play the easy ball and a lack of teamwork halted the goal run. We play on Saturday with a game plan and positions we aim to win as a team and we have a slim chance of the title all this will be lost if we just look to score and not play the right moves. I maybe picking fault at 9.0 last year we would be dancing this year we have to look at playing the next level and be strong as a team not can I get a goal.

Players to credit have to be Lewis and Jacob who stuck like glue to defence 2 real team players. Haseeb fired in some sound crosses and the two new boys who slotted in really well (Dominic and Thomas) the whole team for not moaning when being pulled on and off. Josh for staying focused in goal and pulling off 3 fine stops.

Second half good points Kaylum hitting the bar, fine shots from Lewis, Joe, Matthew, Dominic ,Alex and Jack

Bradfords 8th goal was a great throw from Kaylum that came through to Dominic who finished it really well (37th min)

Kaylum added 9 with a powerfull close range strike during a goal mouth scramble on 38 mins.

Haseeb put in a beautiful strike on 40 mins and was unlucky not to score.

the day was finished by Jack who tried to place his shot but found the keeper more than equal to it.

Final score Lizards 9 Oakworth 0
