Brewood Juniors U12 hosted Silverdale Albion U12 at the Pelsall Education Development Centre on 5th October 2025, with kick-off at 9:45am. In a lively 9-a-side league neutral match lasting 60 minutes plus added time, Brewood Juniors emerged victorious with a convincing 5-2 scoreline.
Brewood Juniors lined up in a 3-4-1 formation, deploying three defenders at the back: Jenson Jones on the right, Samuel Jennings centrally, and Tyler Broughton on the left. The midfield quartet consisted of Harry Johnson on the right, Isaac Sutheran and Jaxon Boulton centrally, and Harrison Szymanel on the left. Leading the line was striker Harry Bradley, positioned just ahead of the midfielders. This setup was designed to provide defensive solidity through the back three, while the midfielders were expected to support both attack and defence, with the lone striker tasked with finishing chances created. The substitutes available for Brewood Juniors were George Dunne, Archie Greenaway, Carter Rafferty, and Robbie Hallam.

As the half drew to a close, Brewood Juniors made further adjustments. At the 30th minute mark, Isaac Sutheran was replaced by Jaxon Boulton, and a minute later, Tyler Broughton came on for central defender Samuel Jennings. Simultaneously, Harry Bradley returned to the pitch, substituting Jenson Jones, and shortly after, he replaced left midfielder Harrison Szymanel. These changes suggested a strategic shift to maintain energy and defensive balance going into the second half.
Silverdale Albion managed to pull a goal back in the 41st minute, offering a glimmer of hope as they sought to reduce the deficit before the break.
The second half began with a flurry of substitutions from Brewood Juniors. In the 61st minute, Harrison Szymanel completed his hat-trick, finishing off a precise assist from Archie Greenaway to seal the emphatic 5-2 victory for Brewood Juniors.
Brewood Juniors’ tactical flexibility and effective use of substitutions played a crucial role in their commanding win. The 3-4-1 formation allowed them to dominate midfield and create numerous chances, with Harrison Szymanel’s clinical finishing proving decisive.
