Away league match played on 23 September 2012.
Kicked off at 10:45 AM

Here we go again another Sunday morning another away trip this time to the Griff & Coton Sporting Complex... the first major obstacle we had to achieve as a team was getting into the changing rooms… after a few choice words from a lot of players, it was finally opened by some chap “who so big and tough looking he actually blocked any of us getting in and yet the bag over his shoulder told it’s on tale!

The Crown had their fifth goalkeeper on show today, with Neil Badge taking the gloves in hand and did quite well having a couple of saves to make. The reason for his debut I hear you ask? Roker is still injured possibly available in 2 weeks; Josh Cooper also injured due back next week, Sam Taylor currently in Turkey talking to Galatasaray, with a potential move in the January window, leaving the net duty to Badge.

Our manager will fill in his report in due course, but suffice to say Crown never really looked in any danger of conceding this week, a good solid defence, helped out with some good midfield battling, which paved the way for Daz Dann to open his account for the season with his first of the game, to put Crown 1 nil up on  17 minutes. Dale Badge then made sure the points were traveling back along the A444 to Bond Gate with the games second gaol & his fourth of the season!Spcial mention to Chris Lumb for his outstanding contributions to falling over, although questions were being asked when Roker, who was taking photographic images again, ran onto the pitch with the Medi-Bag, apparently asked Chris how he was, whilst still taking pictorial images of him!
