Home league match played on 27 June 2012.
Kicked off at 9:10 PM

This was always going to be an exciting encounter with the two teams always competing in competitive matches. The start did not disappoint as the impressive Misfits striker smashed a shot from the half way line from kick off and it flew into the back of the net. Incredible. Misfits 1-0

Clarke then tried to keep possession forFC20 as he went on a mazey run however he slipped in a key possession leading to a Misfits counter attack leading to the same player powering a shot past Taylor. Misfits 2-0

Misfits start to dominate in possession and they take advantage of sloppy defending leading  to the ball being played back out to the right where the ever impressive Misfits striker fired in for a third. Misfits 3-0

Mark G, once a FC20 player, started to dominate and his run took him past Wright and he placed the ball into the bottom right corner. $-0 and not even 10 minutes played.

More misery for Fc20 as Clarke picked up the ball in midfield and attempted a back pass however it fell short and the Misfits sub took it past an onrushing Taylor and put the vball into the empty net. Disaster for Clarke Misfits 5 -0

Just before the break the ball fell to Clarke who passed to Carter on the wing. Carter crossed back to Clarke who was in space and he hit the ball on the half volley and it flew into the back of the net. Consolation goal for FC20 5-1

HALF TIME Misfits 5 – 1 FC20

FC20 came flying out the blocks in this second half with a point to prove. The ball fell to Clarke on the left who took it past the Misfits defender and slid a through ball into Carter who put the ball in the back of the net. 5-2

FC20 almost recreated another goal like the last when Clarke put Carter through but his effort came back off the post.

FC20 started to really press and a long ball from Wright found Carter one on one and Carter coolly lobbed the onrushing keeper. Misfits feel aggrieved as they felt their keeper should have come for the ball earlier. Misfits 5-3 FC20 Game on

Carter was really running the show now and a through ball from Paul T saw Carter go one on one again and once again he coolly finished making it 5-4.

Misfits then had a massive amount of possession but FC20’s confidence was high and their man marking faultless as Misfits struggled to create. However a few minutes later Misfits did create when Wright dived in and missed the ball. Taylor came out and scambled but the ball fell to the Misfits striker who shot only to find that Clarke had recoved and saved the ball on the line with his chest. Shouts for hand ball were rightly ignored from the referee. Clarke will be relieved after his earlier mistake.

Clarke then turned villain again as Wrights fantastic run and cross saw Clarke put the ball wide from 6 yards. Wasted opportunity.

Moments later a longball from Taylor went too close to the keeper however the keeper fumbled the ball in mid air and Carter followed in and headed the ball into the empty net. Misfits 5-5 FC20. Incredible fightback.

The Misfits team was furious with the keeping and the fact that the team has thrown away a 5 goal lead. FC20 was buzzing and once again had to defend some serious Misfits pressure. A long ball from Taylor saw Clarke control it on the right wing. Clarke turned the first defender then used some quick feet to beat the second defender before passing to Carter for an easy finish. Great goal Misfits 5- FC20 6

Misfits were determined to get something out of this but were once again caught out when Carter tackled the defender and once again finished off coolly for his 6th goal...double hat trick...that is his 8th goal this season. Misfits 5- 7 FC20

There was only one and a half minutes left and Carter left the field as FC20 played more defensive however Misfits scored a goal from the corner where the ball was played into Lee who hit the ball first time straight into the top corner. Misfits 6 – 7 FC20
