Away league match played on 11 April 2011.

Not The best – Well for what was possible the starting cup final 11, I think we need to review this. Possibly the worst start ever, yes we scored in 10seconds but what happened after that. We went to sleep. Our passing was poor why because we where a team of individuals not a team of 11 players playing for the same thing.

Players including the team captain saying they want to move positions and don’t care if they are subbed, absolutely disgraceful. I’m afraid those players concerned let Gary, Mike, Myself and parents down. Very disappointed. Most of all you let yourself and team mates down.

Maybe players went into the game thinking it was won before we started, maybe one or two players are getting a bit to sure of themselves and think they are un replaceable and guaranteed a starting place. This is not the case and will never be the case.

So moving on to the game second half, we played a little better in terms of football unfortunately I did not see to much of it as I was dealing with Liam who could be out for a few games.

Good win 6 nil. Great to have a clean sheet well done.

Man of the match Matthew Gilsenan well done.

Overall not a good game, and not a game I want to remember. Mike, Gary and myself are very disappointed in the overall performance, not every player but the attitude of other players ruined the game.

Let’s hope Liam recovers soon. Apologies to the parents for such a disappointing game of football. I will deal with the players who created the issues any future issues I will deal with jointly with the parents.

Let’s move on and get back to what we are good at a football team
