Away league match played on 24 October 2010.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

After last weeks performance Freehouse needed something different & they sure got it. Extra hours put into training working on fitness it was time to see if it paid off. A few changes were made with Dan Decon Starting right wing, Nathen Hickley on the left, Matthew Jenkins dropping inot the back four, Matthew Cox pushed into the centre & the return of Aaron Vassello up front.

The game got under way with Freehouse playing some nice passing football, how ever they were caught on the break & Cosham Blues United had a great effort saved by Jack Tabbner but the rebound went straight back to their striker,  Andy Shaw trying to force it out of play but in doing so conceded a penalty. Up stepped the striker but lucky for Freehouse he put it wide of the right hand post. It was heads up & get stuck in. The passing continued & it was only a matter of time before Freehouse's possession counted. A great move between Decon & Wayne Lawton combined to put a lovley ball through to Hickley who looked sure to score but was clearly fouled. Penalty! Vassello made no mistake & tucked into the bottom left corner 0-1

Freehouse were now fully in control of the game another flowing move down the right saw Decon cross from the byline, Vassello on the end of it, hit his shot first time only for it to deflect of Shaw & hit the back of the net 0-2.

Freehouse in full flow kept the pressure on & had a plenty more chances with Ben Hounsome hitting a fine shot from distance which the keeper saved well. Half time & the team went in with there heads high.

The second half kicked off & Freehouse were firmly under presure for the first 15 mins Cosham Blues United had Freehouse backs to the wall as they came with attack after attack only very poor finishing stopped Cosham Blues United getting a goal back & some great defending from Jenkins & Dave Ough. By now Cosham Blues United resulted in kicking rather than playing football which played into the hands of Freehouse who set out to upset their rhythm. The ever danger long throw from Lawton caused more problems as thrown deep into the box it avoided everyone expect Hickley lurking at the back post to poke home from four yards, His first of the season 0-3.

Two changes were made Dave Hounsome & debut for Robby Carter replacing work horse Decon & the injured Lawton. Freehouse werent finished there, great play out of defence by Jenkins fed Housome who inturn place an inch perfect ball for the pace of Vassello who with ease place a shot high over the out rushing keeper 0-4.

Time for one last change as Ryan Chant also made his debut replacing the hard working Hounsome up top, great result after last week & well worth M.O.M performance from Cox.... The message much the same next week.
