Away league match played on 17 October 2010.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

Freehouse had another good turn out again & looked good in there new kit but all this could not prevent a 3-0 defeat by Park Academics who were  by far the better team on the day. Both teams started slow on the day untill a Park Academics striker beat Shaun Hounsome for pace to get one on one with keeper Jack Tavaner only to then put wide. Things then livened up & there were a few more chances for both teams when Andy Shaw hit a rocket shot which stung the keepers fingertips & hit the crossbar only to come out to Dave Hounsome who also hit the crossbar with a header from the rebound. But it was Park Academics took the lead with a poor clearence from one of the defenders which went straight to their striker who tapped it in past Tavaner 1-0. Things didn't get any better with some poor passing and some bad defending with nothing going on up front. Then a crunching tackle from Dave Hounsome who won the ball got a bit of a reaction from the Park Academics player & things got a bit heated until both captains got pulled over by the referee to calm things down. But things didn't calm down with bad decisions by the referee (their manager) & the Freehouse players getting on his back. Things still didn't get any better and Freehouse were glad to hear the half time whistle. A lot was discussed at half time and it was decided to keep the team as it was but things got worse as soon as the second half started with Tavaner making a few saves but couldn't prevent the second goal with a bad line in defence and the ball was played in for their striker to volley in from 12 yards 2-0. Subs where then made with Nathan Hickley & Dave Ough coming on. Things didn't get any better though when the ball got giving away in the midfield and a ball was played through the centre backs Park Academics got their third 3-0. Only a header from Hickley, a shot 25 yards out from Ben Hounsome & another header that hit the crossbar from Dave Hounsome was Freehouse's best chances in the second half. Another sub was made with Matt Cox replacing Ben Roxburgh who worked well and got up & down the right wing but it was to late the damage was done. Last 10 minutes was quiet & the final whistle went. Both teams shook hands but Freehouse know much improvement is needed for the next game.
