Furngate vets 1 vs 2 caterham pumas vets

Writing ? MATCH REPORT Furngate Vets 1–2 Caterham Pumas It wasn’t the ideal start to the day, with five players dropping out just an hour before kick-off. Once again, everything felt rushed, with people not turning up when they were supposed to, making preparations difficult from the start. I’m not going to write too much about this one. I feel we played well in spells, but ultimately we were far below the level we know we’re capable of. We conceded both goals from mistakes, which was frustrating, especially considering we created well over double figures of chances ourselves. We had opportunities to get something from the game. We should have had a penalty, while Steve Wheal hit the post. On another day, the result could have been very different. There were, however, some excellent individual performances. Both centre-backs, Michael Joy and Dicky, were absolutely outstanding, putting in a massive shift at the back. ?? Man of the Match – Michael Joy Joy gave absolutely everything for the team, making some vital challenges and leading by example throughout the game. A fully deserved Man of the Match award. Up front, Kenny took his goal really well, giving us something to build on. Overall, it’s a day that simply wasn’t on our side. We need more movement, better pressing and more intensity throughout the team. There’s plenty more to come from this group, but we need to get back to the standards we know we can reach. Final Score: Furngate Vets 1–2 Caterham Pumas ? Kenny van-de-Peer – 1 goal ?? Man of the Match – Michael Joy
